Ways to study

Same syllabus. Three places to sit.

On campus, online, or off-campus. The mode changes your Tuesday evening; it does not change what you learn, what you are assessed on, or what you pay.

The three study modes

Mode 01

On campus

A room at Kendahouse, 4th Floor, Nairobi, a board, and a Cohort small enough that every learner speaks in every session instead of the loudest three.

Fits if your week has a fixed window and you study best in a room with other people.

Mode 02

Online

The same syllabus and the same Cohort, joined from wherever you are. No commute, same level, same final assessment at the end of the twelve weeks.

Fits if your week does not survive a commute, or Nairobi traffic decides your evenings for you.

Mode 03

Off-campus

Your Cohort meets away from Kendahouse, in the building your organisation, campus or team already uses. The programme travels to the room, not the other way round.

Fits an organisation or a campus that wants one Cohort trained together in its own space.

Unchanged

Five things that never move between modes.

  • Placement check before day one
  • The same syllabus and CEFR ladder
  • Roughly twelve weeks, assessment at the end
  • KSh 42,000 per language level, in every mode
  • Intakes in January, May and September

Choosing

Answer one question, get one mode.

A fixed evening and a short trip across town?
On campus
Shifts, deadlines or a commute that eats the evening?
Online
Three or more people in one organisation?
Off-campus, and admissions quotes it for the Cohort

You can change how you study from one level to the next. Ask admissions before a round starts and they will place you in the mode that is open.

Where sessions run

Kendahouse, 4th Floor, Nairobi

On-campus sessions, events and the placement window all happen in the same building, so a tour of a session, your placement check and day one are one trip, not three.
